The Challenges
For the SAIC Design Challenge 2016, participants had to do much more than just create beautiful visuals. They had to create visuals and apply the principles of design to solve real cases. Interior Design
Graphic Design
Product Design
Much like similar challenges, each category was marked out of ten. Each genre had its own set of tasks that could include drawing, design, ideation, video, storyboarding, formats, etc. In the end, contestants had to present their best works for judges to review and give their verdict.
The Results
The results were simply stunning. Creatives from around the world participated and presented visuals that were nothing short of amazing. The works included things like detailed drawings, interactive videos, intricate designs, and much more. After the judging phase was over, here are the brilliant minds that walked away with the winner’s trophy:
